While you do not need to be a professional woodworker for this project, a general knowledge of woodworking techniques, safety practices, and blueprint reading are necessary.
Please see the attached list of tools needed to complete the chair. With the provided templates you have the option to:
Trace the profile followed by using a bandsaw and flush trim router bit or belt sander or
Use a plunge router and guide bushing followed by flush trim router bit or belt sander
Package includes:
1/4” MDF templates cut with a CNC of all chair parts (less the seat backer which is a simple layout) as well as 3 additional parts needed for required jigs
All parts are labeled with a letter corresponding to the build notes
Back leg template is shipped in 2 pieces with a puzzle joint that is easily pressed together with a small amount of glue (see picture)
2 separate PDF downloads (build notes and drawings) formatted for easy reading on letter size paper
