Mid Century Modern Ottoman Plans (template and digital plans)

Build a matching ottoman to the Mid Century low lounge chair. This ottoman is designed for a 3” thick foam cushion (plans do not include details on this…this skill set is not in my wheelhouse!) For those without a CNC, purchase these full size MDF templates which includes:

  • Full size MDF templates for the legs and sides-allowing you to use a router bushing and end mill to cut mortises in flat face of sides and the slot (CNC milled for accuracy)

  • A full set of professional drawings showing all chair construction details (digital)

You will receive an email with your digital drawings once your MDF templates ship. Have a CNC? Digital CNC variation is coming

You do not need to be a professional woodworker for this project, but a general knowledge of woodworking techniques, safety practices, and blueprint reading are necessary.

With the provided templates you have the option to:

  • Trace the profile followed by using a bandsaw and flush trim router bit or belt sander or

  • Use a plunge router and guide bushing followed by flush trim router bit or belt sander

Larger template pieces are shipped in multiple pieces with a puzzle joint that is easily pressed together with a small amount of superglue
